NEW Aetna Atrium (ACO) for Charlotte Metro area (SC/NC)

For the 2023 plan year, a new Aetna plan option will be available to employees in the Charlotte Metro area (NC/SC). This accountable care organization (ACO) plan option is offered in partnership with Atrium Health to deliver high-quality care at a lower cost. Employees will have the option to select the Aetna Atrium (ACO) during Open Enrollment if they live in one of the following counties:
  • Anson
  • Cabarrus
  • Cleveland
  • Gaston
  • Lancaster
  • Lincoln
  • Mecklenburg
  • Stanly
  • Union
  • York
Why consider this medical plan for 2023? If you're already using Atrium Health hospitals and providers, then the Aetna Atrium (ACO) plan option may be a great choice for you:
  • Low payroll deductions
  • Low co-pays
  • No deductibles
  • No Aetna referral needed to see an Atrium Health specialist

NEW Diabetes Support with Virta

Coming in 2023!
The Virta Health program is designed to lower blood glucose levels and features virtual guidance and tools to help participants reverse Type 2 diabetes without medication or surgery.

This enhancement to our health benefits program will be available in early 2023 and will support the physical well-being of employees and their covered dependents who are managing Type 2 diabetes.
