New Hire Enrollment

Welcome to LPL! We’re so excited you’re here. Be sure to enroll into benefits within 30 days from your date of hire. If you do not enroll within that timeframe, you will only have company-paid benefits, such as basic life and AD&D insurance and basic short- and long-term disability insurance.

Enrolling Is Easy

LPL’s benefit enrollment system is called ADP My Pay and Benefits. You can access ADP My Pay and Benefits via SSO by first going to the Home page of LPL@Work and finding the link under “My Apps/Systems”.

Accessing while ON the LPL Network: This site is single sign-on (SSO) while on the LPL Network and the link can be found on LPL@Work in the My Apps/Systems listing. IMPORTANT: The SSO link does NOT work in Internet Explorer (IE). Please use Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari to log in.

Accessing while OFF the LPL Network: If you've already registered for ADP Self Service, use your username and password to access the My Pay and Benefits site when you are not on the LPL network (example username format: JSmith@lplp). First-time users should follow these instructions and enter registration code: lplp-lpl. To access the ADP Self Service portal to register or while not on the LPL network, go to https://my.adp.com.

If you experience technical difficulties during your enrollment in ADP My Pay and Benefits, contact the LPL Benefits Service Center at 1.855.894.7752, or LPLFinancialServiceCenter@adp.com.

After your new hire enrollment opportunity ends, you cannot change your benefit elections until the next Open Enrollment unless you experience a qualifying life event, such as a birth or a marriage.

 

Life Events

Changes to benefit elections outside Open Enrollment are only allowed if you’ve experienced a qualifying life event within the past 30 days.

Qualifying life events include but are not limited to:

  • Marriage
  • Divorce or legal separation
  • Birth or adoption of an eligible child
  • Death of your spouse or covered child
  • Loss or addition of other group coverage
  • Change in your spouse’s work status (part-time to full-time or vice versa; taking or returning from an unpaid leave of absence)
  • Change in your work status that affects your benefits
  • Change in residence that affects your eligibility for coverage
  • You or your covered dependent becomes eligible for Medicare

What to do if you experience a life event
If you need to make changes to your benefit elections as a result of a life event, visit the ADP My Pay and Benefits website or call ADP at 855.894.7752. Changes must be made within 30 days of your qualifying life event.

You will be required to upload documentation to verify the event (i.e., marriage certificate, divorce decree, birth certificate, Domestic Partnership Certification Form with documentation, court order, etc.), the corresponding election change(s), and dependent eligibility for any newly added dependents. You must upload the documentation within the required timeframes provided by ADP.
